This website contains a collection of challenges for young spies in training. It is designed for children aged 7-12, although it may be enjoyed by anyone. Younger children may need your help reading the instructions for each task. You may find it most fun if you complete all the challenges together.

Some tasks will work well in family groups, or as a classroom, and some may be completed by children on their own.

You could rush through the complete training in a day or two, or spread it over several weeks.

We’d love it if you could share photos or stories with us. It’s great to know where and how these adventures are being enjoyed, and it helps us show our funders and partners that we’re reaching people. Please email spykids@terrestrial.org.uk (we will write back to you to ensure we have your permission before sharing anything).

Please note that some of the videos contain mild violence, and some of the stories could be a little bit scary (like an episode of Doctor Who).

The website uses a mixture of text, video (if you’re in a school please make sure you can play youtube clips), audio and slideshows.

We are working to make this website more accessible - if you find any element that you would like adjusting, please email hello@terrestrial.org.uk and we will make changes.

SPY KIDS WANTED was created by Nigel Barrett, Louise Mari & Amy Pitt and produced by Terrestrial - inspired by a collaboration with 500 children in Weston-super-Mare. Nigel and Louise were supported by Terrestrial to spend a year visiting eight primary schools in the Extend Learning Academies Network in Weston, where they developed a series of performances, games and adventures with the children. You can learn more about that process, and watch a documentary about Terrestrial’s work in Weston, here: www.terrestrial.org.uk
